UPS Worker Trades $160,000 Diamond for $20 Worth of Marijuana

Man Trades $160,000 Diamond for a Little Marijuana

A former UPS worker has been accused of stealing a packaged that contained a $160,000 diamond. The man then traded the valuable jewel for a measly twenty dollars worth of marijuana. Seriously? How crazy can people get now days?! A gorgeous, valuable diamond for freaking twenty dollars worth of drugs? Apparently he wasn’t a smart UPS worker.

According to the court documents, twenty year old Walter Earl Morrison was working for the UPS while he was unloading a plane in the cargo section of the Sky Harbor Airport. Walter bravely but stupidly stuffed the package under his shirt. Morrison for whatever reason, thought the packaged had contained cash, however when he opened that package he was surprised to find the diamond. Why would he automatically assume cash was in a package? People these days blow my mind.

House of Diamonds Owner, Brent Taubman’s Statement about the Price Diamond

Any single stone over $100,000 is an expensive stone.

According to the documents, Morrison allegedly traded the expensive diamond for the marijuana before he was caught. Are you kidding me? According to a UPS spokesperson, luckily the stolen diamond was recovered and then delivered to the person it was intended to go to in the first place. It’s no surprise that UPS then fired Walter Morrison for his crazy actions. The authorities charged Walter Morrison for felony theft last week. At the Morrison home the man who was there would not open the door or make any comments on the matter.

How ridiculously crazy is this case? Who would be crazy enough to trade a diamond for a little bit of marijuana. Hopefully the silly Walter has learned his lesson and when he comes out of jail he’ll be a new man on the straight and narrow. No more marijuana.

Man Admits to Being High and Drunk When Crashing into Officer

Judge Gives Maximum Sentence To Man Who Crashed into Officer

A judge has given the maximum sentence to a young man (twenty four years old) who admitted to being drunk and high at the time he crashed into a Phoenix Police Officer. The police Officer Daryl Raetz was killed by the twenty-four year old last year. After the crash Officer Raetz was taken to the hospital where he sadly died.

Jesus Cabrera-Molina has been sentenced to only eight years in prison, as well as seven years of probation for negligent homicide and deadly hit and run. At first Molina pleaded not guilty however he quickly changed his plea to no contest.

According to the police report, Officer Raetz was conducting a DUI stop back in May 2013. That is when another vehicle had hit him at about three:thirty in the morning, and then fled towards 51st Avenue and Cambridge. Officer Raetz was only twenty-nine years old. He was also veteran from the Iraq war and had been a Phoenix Police Officer for six years. Molina is an undocumented immigrant.

Officer Raetz Wife’s Question to Molina

Why did you do drugs, kill my husband and drive away? No more saying you don’t remember.

Officer Raetz might be gone, but his wife, Stephanie wants his little girl to remember him as the hero that he was.

Stephanie’s Statement to the Judge

How does a 7-year-old know to ask questions about someone else’s actions? ‘Mom, why did he choose to kill my dad?

The officers on scene said that they heard some very “chilling accounts” of what had happened that night.

Officer Jennifer Moore’s Statement

The gut-wrenching high low tone is a sound that makes every officer stop in their tracks. And their heart skips a beat. There is nothing like a friend getting on the radio and saying ‘officer down. I saw Daryl laying in the middle of the road. He wasn’t moving. As Daryl layed (sic) on the road, it proved to be his final battle. I knew Darryl was dead. So we will make sure that they are great ones for her, by always telling her her dad lived as only a hero could.

Man Charged For Stabbing A Person at Walgreens

Man Imprisoned for Stabbing Walgreens Customer

Times are getting pretty tough when you can’t even go to the local pharmacy without being attacked. Personally I would be terrified to be a bank teller, convince store employee or anything that has to do with dealing with money in the public. People are struggling and will do anything to get some money. Heck most people that are robbing others are just trying to take the easy way out.

A man has now been charged for the attempts of first-degree murder. He allegedly was involve with stabbing a customer at Walgreens. The suspect, Christopher Gale purchased a knife from the local Walmart on September 21st. Christoper used the knife to stab a Walgreens customer who was shopping at the time. The Walgreens was located at West Osborn Road and North Central Avenue, according to the police.

Christoper Gale Attacks Walgreens Customer

According to the Phoenix Police, Christopher approached the shopper from behind and stabbed the female victim in the back of her neck. The lady then turned to face Christoper Gale and that is when he told her that he was “I’m killing you to save the world”. She then pushed him away and screamed. The victim and suspect did not know each other.

Luckily a federal agent was in the store as well, he was off duty at the time. The federal agent was standing in line at the checkout when he heard the female victim scream. The agent then ran to see what was happening. The agent was luckily armed and pointed the gun at Christoper Gale. He took control of the situation and yelled for Christoper to drop to the ground, Gald complied. The federal agent then held Christopher at gunpoint until the police backup was able to arrive. The suspect was read his Miranda rights and then Christopher admitted to buying the knife because he just wanted to “stab and kill” someone.

The female victim suffered from a large laceration and puncture wound to the base of her head. Authorities say it was 1.75” deep.
